Connie Sparks,

& Trainer/Instructor
Connie Sparks recently moved Epona Equestrian Center to
4228 Springhill Community Road.
The new facility is a full-service equestrian
center offering boarding, horse training, riding
instruction, and children’s equestrian camps and is
located on 135 acres featuring pastures and paddocks, a
large, lighted indoor riding arena, and a large outdoor
arena. Connie
is ARIA Certified Riding Instructor, Level II and has
trained with top trainers around the US.
She has been actively involved in the equestrian
world at a number of levels since she was 8 years old
and has owned Epona Equestrian Center for the last 9
years. She offers riding instruction for ages 6 and up at all
abilities in both English and Western. Connie
specializes in teaching the rider to become one with the
horse through balance, riding position, and proper
communication. Her
children’s riding programs stress responsibility of
horsemanship while promoting confidence and self-esteem
through riding.
Connie also offers training for horse at all
stages and abilities.
She is also available for consultations on
purchasing the proper horse or solving equine problems
with your existing horse.

Meet
"The Girls" |
|
One of the first
things that you will notice about Epona Equestrian Center is
there is never a shortage of young equestrians around the
place. Don't let age fool you, most of the Girls have
years of riding experience and spend all of their free time
out at the barn. They assist Connie in the day to day
running of Epona and serve as Junior mentors to young
riders. |

Riding Bio: I love riding and I love
horses. I have been riding with Connie for four
years. She is a very, very good instructor.
I have made a lot of good friends at Epona and make more
every year. I come to the barn almost every day
during the summer and as many as possible during the
school year. My favorite part about riding is
jumping high jumps and cantering. It takes a lot
of hard work, but at the end of the day it all pays off! |

Riding Bio: I live in
CA, so the 1st thing I do when I come to MT is go to the
barn. All my friends here are at the barn which is
one reason I like to go there. Working around the
ranch and with the horses has taught me a lot of
responsibility. Connie is a great riding teacher
and a really nice person. She taught me everything
I know about English riding. The best part is the
cross country jumps because there are jumps for all
abilities. |
